The adventure begins with a bus ride from Kathmandu to Gorkha, the ancestral home the present Shah dynasty and home of original Gorkha soldiers with ascending alongside the Buri Gandaki River and into a high alpine valley to typical Tibetan villages: Lho (3100m) and Sama (3500m) where you can visit monasteries. A steeper ascent to Larkya La pass (5420 m) is rewarded by stunning views of Manaslu (8163 m) - the eight highest mountain peak in the world - as well as Manaslu North, the Ganesh Himal and Annapurna ranges. Trekkers can reach at Dharapani (Annapurna region) after crossing Larkya La. Trekking ends at Dumre after 18 days. It has still less crowd of trekkers and a virgin beauty in which every trekker can take satisfaction in Nature's paradise.
